Vintage 1950s Grey-Blue Mutation Crossover Mink Fur Stole

Out of Stock

Product Description

A stunningly styled and very rare coloured mink! This mid-1960s, Cerulean grey/blue mutation mink bolero has a fantastically elegant and unique cross-over design. The stole can be worn with both front drops hanging in the front like a typical stole, or two conealed slits in the front allow it to be worn crossed, either to the left or to the right, as shown in the photo. This one-of-a-kind stole was crafted by a New Hampshire furrier using thick and plush Cerulean mink pelts, tiered at the rear to accent the fur's grey striations.  The colouring and tonal dimension of the fur of this exceptional, with the  light grey fur being accented by darker, gun-metal grey highlights. A mink stole with this colouring is particularly rare, as Cerulean mink constitutes only .1% of the mink in the world.

It is lined in silver satin that perfectly complements the colour of the fur. The initials BH are monogrammed on the lining in a dark grey thread with a teal rouched ribbon adjacent.

Wrap yourself in warmth and vintage glamour, just like  the model in the 1962 Vogue Advert!
