A rare and supremely luxurious Norwegian blue fox fur wrap that oozes 1950’s vintage glamour. This exquisite vintage fox fur is more than two metres long, allowing you to wrap yourself in warmth and opulence! It was crafted by Revillion Furs of New York City—Saks Fifth Avenue’s couture furrier in the 1950s and 60s— using extremely plush and thick blue fox fur pelts. The voluminous cream coloured pelts with pale grey and taupe highlights are beautifully sewn into three rows that terminate at gently rounded edges. The rows of pelts are divided by concealed strips of grey grosgrain ribbon that not only give the fur extra volume, but increase the fluidity of the wrap so it falls perfectly however you chose to wear it.
This wrap is so incredibly versatile, with its length allowing it to be worn a variety of ways. It can be wrapped around as a scarf or stole around your shoulders; worn around your shoulders and belted at the waist; or tied in the front so it drapes over itself.
It is lined in a grey satin with two inner pockets, and has a monogram reading ‘JKM’.
Coming across vintage blue fox fur wraps such as these is very rare, as they were some of the most expensive fur pieces one could order. Even more uncommon— to find one made by a couture furrier in mint condition!
A perfect addition to any wardrobe or a winter wedding!
