An absolutely breath-taking and rare coloured Cerulean blue/grey mink. This gorgeous early 1960s wrap crafted by E.J. Edwards Furs of Chicago, features an oversized rear sweep and a lovely tuxedo front cut that creates two silk-lined pockets at the front that are perfect to slip your hands into.
It was made using wide and extremely thick, female Cerulean mink pelts. The colouring and tonal dimension of the fur is outstanding, with the light grey fur being accented by darker, gun-metal grey striations. A mink stole with this colouring is particularly rare, as Cerulean mink constitutes only .1% of the mink in the world.
The stole is lines in a silver brocade silk satin and has the name 'Clara Field' is delicately embroidered in the lining in a mtaching silver thread. There are no closures on the cape as it meant to be worn 'open', but a furrier hook can easily be added or alternatively a vintage dress clip or brooch used to secure the front.
Wrap yourself in opulence just like the model in the 1963 Vogue Advert! Perfect for a winter wonderland wedding!
