Designed by a Cleveland furrier, Mays and Co., this simple, yet elegant late-1960s fully stranded Autumn Haze mink stole is the perfect addition to any wardrobe. The stole features a large rear sweep, fur-backed collar and lapel that can be worn flat or standing and a beautiful ruching detail to the sides. It also has two concealed slit pockets at the front that are perfect for slipping chilly hands into.
The stole is crafted of EMBA Autumn Haze pelts that are thick and plush. The colour of the fur is best described as a chestnut hue with honey and caramel striations. These striations are accentuated by the horizontal orientation of the pelts to the rear of the stole. EMBA minks are incredibly rare to find. Look at our ABOUT VINTAGE FURS page to understand why EMBA was America's premier mink farmer and how the quality of their pelts is superior to all others.
It is lined in a taupe silk satin and has the monogram 'HKC' embroidered in the left front drop.
A very adaptable piece that can be dressed up or down! Wear it over jumpers, cocktail gowns or a wedding dress!
